A Moment and a Memory

So this Christmas marked the 10th anniversary of when Khornesone asked me to wait for him while he went over seas to Korea for the first time as a young soldier. He gave to me a simple ring that was two toned in color of gold and silver and held little rhinestones. It is a beautiful ring and I still have it as it means very much to me. I said yes and I waited for him. That was Christmas 2000 and he left for Korea January 2001.

To mark that anniversary, I was not expecting anything, of that promise he presented me with a card and a new ring this year.

The card reads as follows:

I'm So Blessed to Have You for My Wife

I love you

not just for everything you do as a wife and mother,

but for the way you do it--

with faith, patience, and love.

I can't imagine sharing my life and raising a family

with anyone else but you.

With Love at Christmas and Always.

And then he wrote the following in true Sone fasion:

I'm ssssstill keeping my promissssse to love you forever.

Here is my new promise ring.

Sone is a character race that he created for an online war game. The race is a group of creatures that are a cross between a snake and a human. There are several drawings in the form of a comic strip that he drew here in my journal somewhere. :D

Happy Holidays to everyone, no matter what you celebrate or do not, this holiday season.

LOL Got a really unexpected nice surprise today.

Khornesone gave me a Le Vian Chocolate Diamond Snake Ring!!

Oh yes.. and an Airbrush and Compressor!!!!

:swoons: All I got him was Warhammer stuff..

And so it begins...

First up.. For Khornesone... per his DEMANDS.. ahem.. Snickerdoodles.

Then per the minions requests, Lady C's Chocolate PB cookies.

Then from there all the rest of the darn stuff and a few pies later on in the month for the holiday festivities.

No idea what all gatherings we have on our calander, as of yet, to attend for KOs work.
